Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actor, most well-known from 2011 on for her character of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama show Awkward. Tarlov was one of two daughters who was born and raised by the parents of her mother in Manhattan. When she was a ten-year-old Tarlov was a character in her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of a Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by a crowd that included seven-year-olds. As she grew older she was a summer student at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She trained in a range of styles for acting and earned her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and she was able to integrate writing into her performance in the LAByrinth Theater Master class. Molly switched her dark jacket for a sunglasses prior to going to Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed with her performance with just three words iCarly. Molly has made a number of shows on television and has played the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly is a pro basketball player who likes to believe she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
